2026-2027 Kindergarten Registration Checklist

We are thrilled to welcome you and your child to the Lampeter learning community. To ensure a smooth transition for you and your child, we have created a checklist of important information and events. Check off each item as you prepare for kindergarten.

  1. Follow Lampeter-Strasburg on social media to ensure you are receiving the district's Early Childhood News emails.
  1. Attend our Early Childhood events, like Preschool Morning Out and Pre-K Play to Learn
  2. Visit our Health Room page to verify what is needed for registration.
  3. Complete Online Kindergarten Registration in February.
  4. Begin thinking about before and after-school child care. Register for our School Age Child Care (SACC) program if needed in March.
  5. Attend our Kindergarten Expo in March to learn about our kindergarten program, meet the staff, and gather important information.
  6. Join us for Pre-K Pals Transition Nights in April.
  7. Sign your child up for a Kindergarten Screening appointment in May.
  8. Attend Kickoff to Kindergarten in June and take a self-guided tour in August.
